You have come to the church of the firstborn, whose names are written in heaven. You have come to God... to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel. (Hebrews 12:22-24)
Meaning of Mount Zion
Mount Zion is a spiritual reference to the church of Jesus Christ, the place (and people) that God Himself inhabits and through whom He primarily reveals Himself to the world. As a people we strive to reveal the presence of God and His truth in our daily lives. By so doing we are able to fulfill the great commission as given by our Lord Jesus Christ and handed to us by our founding fathers.
